Raw Food Juicers!

raw food juicers are the way to go

Raw food juicers are essential for making fresh raw food juice! In fact, juice and smoothies are the way most raw vegans get their dark leafy greans. There are 2 basic types of juicers, centrifugal and masticating. The centrifugal juicer chops and spins the product away from the juicing blades very quickly. This is the simpler and less expensive type of juicer. It is easier to clean as well. For example the Jack Lalanne juicer is centrifugal.

The masticating juicer will process the product hundreds of times before the pulp is extracted. It chews the fibers and breaks up the cells of the vegetables and fruits, leaving more fiber, enzymes, vitamins and trace minerals. More of the food color (pigment) is extracted and the juice will be richer in color. These types of juicers, such as by Champion are a little more expensive, but extract more juice. My friend Jeff has a masticating juicer and there are a lot of moving parts to disassemble and clean up after juicing.

Here is Jason Vale describing the benefits of the new "broadband" juicers.
