Raw Vegan Recipes!



Here are some raw vegan recipes that I enjoy. Perhaps you would like to contribute some of your own to share!

WILD BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE

Equipment needed: Blender

Ingredients:

1½ C water
5 tbsp hemp seeds
3 tbsp agave nectar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½ C blueberries, frozen
1 medium banana
Pinch of sea salt


Preparation:

Blend everything except for the frozen ingredients on high until it is white, creamy and frothy. Then add the frozen blueberries and banana and blend again on high until smooth and creamy.

Serves: 2

Protein: 9g


MORNING ENERGY BAR

Equipment needed: Food Processor

Ingredients:

1 tsp flax seed, ground
2 dates, pitted
¼ C water
½ C walnuts, chopped
½ C mix of dried apricots, dried cranberries, and raisins
½ C almonds, soaked up to 1 hour


Preparation:

Process all ingredients, leaving consistency slightly crunchy for a bar with more texture. Continue to knead and form into a rectangle. Cut into bars and enjoy!
