Tony Gonzalez is an extraordinary athlete! This 14 year NFL star and vegan athlete is proving to the sports world that you can be vegan, as well as powerful, lean, and fast. He has been selected to the Pro Bowl 11 times.
In 2007 Gonzalez suffered from facial paralysis known as Bell's Palsy. Gonzalez began eating a vegan diet after reading The "China Study" by T. Colin Campbell. Tony and his nutritionist ultimately decided that eating meat on occasion would be best for his performance, though he avoids red meat.
